Visakhapatnam Metro Rail project DPR submitted by DMRC (Delhi Metro Rail Corporation)

visakhapatnam metro rail project detailed DPR has been submitted to andhra pradesh chief minister Mr N chandra babu Naidu .In the DPR it is mentioned that around 42.55 km of rail track will be laid  and the metro lines for vizag city which covers mainly four lines.

1. NAD  to kommadi

2. NAD to Gajuwaka

3.Gurudwara to Old post office

4. Tatichetlapalem to China waltair

Around 12,272 crs will be spent for this visakhapatnam metro line project and the detailed project has been submitted by the Delhi Metro rail Corporation on 12-09-2015. In that the above mentioned major places in visakhapatnam will be covering in the vizag metro rail project dmrc submitted Its good news to the residents of Gajuwaka, which is the industrial region of the city, as Vizag Metro Rail authorities have started surveying the area to include it in the proposed Metro Rail for Vizag.

Principal Advisor to Delhi Metro Rail Corporation is being appointed as advisor to AP govt. Metro liner project  Mr Sreedharan.Mr Sridharan also been appointed for the projects for the metro rail projects in vijayawada and tirupathi.Mr Sridharan has submitted the detailed vizag metro liner project details regarding the budget and planning for laying the rail tracks which are connecting the maximum places in vizag city from all over from gajuwaka to old post office and NAD to kommadi which covers around 42.55 km as it is covering the entire city which being executing by the delhi metro rail corporation.

the vizag metro rail project covering even the railway station, RTC complex.

This project would be taken up under build, operate and transfer (BOT) mode.

If everything goes well, the city will have the metro rail system by the end of 2017.
