Doomed Russian spacecraft M-27M may crash into the Earth Friday

Doomed Russian spacecraft M-27M may crash into the Earth Friday 8/05/2015 early hours

The Russian spaceship M 27M that spun out of control since launching last week may re-enter the atmosphere and crash into the earth surface on Friday 8/5/2015, according to the scientists prediction.

The space craft M-27M is carrying food and fuel for astronauts aboard the International Space Station when it suffered a critical malfunction. While reaching its orbit, out of five antennas two  did not unfold, due to that it became to difficult for Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscosmos) to communicate with and control the unmanned space craft.

After so many unsuccesfull attempts to rescue the spacecraft, the Russian Federal space agency decided to abandon hope and let the space craft fall back down to Earth within 10 days.

The space craft was launched successfully early Tuesday by a Soyuz rocket from the Baikonur Cosmodrome, Kazakhstan.
The Russian spacecraft M-27M was unmanned and originally bound for the International Space Station (ISS) has gone out of control shortly after reaching the orbit last Tuesday. The uncontrollable space craft is likely to fall from orbit early hours of 8/5/2015 Friday, said the Russian Federal space agency (Roscomos) predicting that any fragment reaching  Earth from space should hit sea and not the land.

Russian Federal Space Agency (Roscomos) has predicted that the craft should burn in the Earth atmosphere .The space craft was loaded with 3 tonnes of supplies destined for the six-strong crew living in the orbiting laboratory.

Bits of debris around the capsule suggest there may have also been an explosion that most likely took place when the capsule separated from the rocket which may have contributed to the vehicle malfunctioning. The 7-metre-long vehicle M -27M (Progress 59) will spiral around the Earth and losing orbit until it enters the Earth atmosphere, where much of it should burn immediately. However, there is a concern that  some of the space craft fragments may fall on land.
